he Ford Mustang is an American icon and was originally based on the Ford Falcon compact. The first production Mustang rolled off the assembly line in Dearborn, Michigan on 9th March 1964 and was introduced to the public at the New York World's Fair on 17th April 1964. It was, and remains, one of the most successful product launches in automotive history. The Mustang sold over one million units in its first 18 months on the market and its legend lives on with revised models still in production today after 50 years. With each revision, the Mustang saw an increase in overall dimensions and in engine power.

This shining example of the iconic Ford Mustang 289 Notchback was imported from the Nevada desert in 2014 and since importation it has undergone a full re-commissioning by Mustang experts in the UK. It was submitted for an mot inspection in early April which it passed with no advisories. The car drives very well and during the re-commissioning the 289 V8 engine has been completely rebuilt and most moving parts have been replaced. These include New exhausts, new chrome, all new suspension including shock absorbers, springs and anti-roll bar, new braded hosing, new wheels, new headlights, new aluminium radiator, new fuel tank and a complete new interior.

The car has a beautiful straight body, is light and powerful to drive and is fitted with automatic transmission and new American racing wheels and tyres.

Completely ready to be enjoyed.
