A mid-20th century Italian 18ct gold and coral necklace, the rope twist chain entwined coral beads, tongue and box snap clasp fastening, stamped '750', 52.5cm long, weight 86.5gms
Coral beads show moderate scratching and wear, and a few examples show minor losses or piercing. All beads appear secure. There are many shallow dents throughout the gold chain, concentrated to the highpoints. No splitting or repair visible to the naked eye. The clasp is in good order, opening smoothly and closing securely, though is slightly wobbly once fastened. Safety catch in working order. Please see images for clasp.
