A vintage, Maasai RUNGU throwing & fighting club, made of black ebony. Length: 52 cm. Origin: Maasai camps at
the base of Kilimanjaro, Tanzania. In a private collection since early 60s.
A RUNGU is a traditional club very effective in defending the herds against lions and thieves, it is also an important
emblem of warrior status for young males.
