An early 20th century 18ct yellow gold garnet ring, the oval cut garnet in openwork claw setting edge leading to florally engraved shoulders and plain polished shank, stamped 'SULd' Chester 1911, ring size S, 9gms, total garnet weight estimated 2ct
There is a chip to the bottom right hand side of the untested garnet.
Stone appears eye clean but minor inclusions are present under x10 loupe.
Claws are low and will require attention.
Carving to the shoulders is a little low
No major signs of thinning or splitting to the shank.
