A three panel pilgrim's plaque which opens like a triptych, to reveal pressed metal panels inside and a center metallic image of Our Lady of Lourdes set in dark green velvet. The plaque is medium brown fine leather with stylized gilded initials N.D.L (Notre Dame de Lourdes) on the front and gilded decoration around the interior panels. 1923 Pilgrimage. Probably made in France.
