A group of five World War Two medals awarded to FG.Off J.F Walters (Joseph Frank Veijopek 1919-1997) to include Malaya general service medal, 1939/45 medal, 1939/45 Defence medal, Air Crew Europe star, 1939/45 star and miniatures, also Czech 1939/45 scouts cross medal, three framed medals of the Czech, French and Royal Airforce, also military fob watch mark IV No 1691, other watches, dog tag, various silk maps and various log books while with the Czech air force 1938/9, French Airforce 1939, log book with 32 squadron 1940-42 etc, coloured photographs and ephemera, together with his RAF officer's dress uniform with bar and wings. (qty)

NB - Contrary to popular myth and corrected by the entry in FO Walters log book, Squadron Leader Wilfred Duncan did not fly in the last sortie where a Spitfire fired its guns in anger. On New Years Day 1951 Flight Officer Walters in NH850/Z flew in the raid on Kota Tinggi accompanied by Flt Officer Keogh and Flight Officer JC Smith as WDS was unfit to fly due to the previous night celebrations, so his plane was piloted by FO Walters.
