A Victorian burr walnut piano top Davenport desk, the pop-up top with three-quarter brass gallery and fitted interior above a bureau section opening to reveal a fitted writing surface and wells above four real and four dummy drawers, on a platform base, 55cms wide.
There is what looks like water damage to the polish to the top and general age related wear and tear, one small area of the veneer lifting and some minor losses to the veneer at the edges of the piece, otherwise good condition.
