A cased set of six Edwardian silver mounted coffee cans and saucers, The Alexander Clark Manufacturing Co, Birmingham 1906, the Coalport cobalt blue glazed coffee cans with gilt highlights, within an openwork silver mount with cast handle, stamped to base ‘Coalport 4456’ within a fitted case
Five out of six of the coffee cans are stuck inside the silver mount.
Majority of silver mounts show splits, visible joins, gaps between the silver mounts where it has split, general tarnishing, scratches and dents.
Rubbing to gilt highlights throughout, minor nibbles to footrims, but no obvious chips, cracks, crazing or evidence of restoration.
Box shows evidence of wear and discolouration to the interior and exterior.
