A Ruby and Diamond Butterfly Brooch,
the head wing tips and antennae set with round and marquise-cut rubies, further set to body and wings with modern round brilliant-cut diamonds, the diamonds totalling approximately 1.00 carats, mounted in 18ct yellow gold, stamped with maker's mark, 46mm, 15.7g
The rubies are well matched and are of deep vivid pinkish red colour. The diamonds are very bright and lively. The mount hardly has any wear. Overall in very good condition.
