A Black Forest carved linden wood jewellery casket. 19th century, surmounted by a family group of four deer on the rising lid, with twin swing-out compartments, each with three hinged divisions, with two drawers behind, applied with carved edelweiss, on open scroll feet, height 58cm. This cabinet is in a presentable useable condition, there is no major damage, and no evidence of woodworm. There are a few losses on the horns. The handle on the top internal dummy drawer is missing, otherwise just a few marks and knocks commensurate with age.
