A CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE PORCELAIN BOWL, 18/19TH CENTURY. Heavily potted decorated to the interior with the three friends of winter comprising pine, bamboo, and plum. The exterior with floral decoration. Six character mark of Xuande to base in double ring. 21.5cm diam.

Faint 4cm vertical hairline from rim. Light crazing in areas. Provenance: Property of Dennis Young, son to Sir Mark Aitchison Young GCMG (1886-1974) who served as Governor of Hong Kong between 1941 and 1947, thence by descent.
