Japanese satsuma small vase in the style of Kinkozan, Meiji (1868-1912), shouldered ovoid form decorated of panels featuring figures opposing chrysanthemum, against a deep cobalt blue ground with gilded details, signature mark to base, height 10cm
There is a chip to the foot rim. There are some small scratches which have removed gilt spotting adjacent to a butterfly (see image)
