Family history has suggested that the vendor's grandmother was believed to be a daughter of Edward Gordon Craig. As a child she spent some time in the company of "Aunt" Ellen, Olive Morris and entourage; staying at Smallhythe Place. These items were gifted after the death of Ellen Terry to the vendor's grandmother; included are the handkerchiefs that they came wrapped in.
