A GEORGE III SILVER PAIR CASED POCKET WATCH BY WEBB OF TAMWORTH, fusee movement, verge escapement, numbered 312, case maker WH for William Howard, cases Birmingham 1808, diameter of dial 4.3cm, overall diameter 5.2cm (William Webb of Tamworth may be the same man who became better known as an animal artist (1780-1846) (condition: missing button on rear pair case, surface scratches and glass scratched, enamel dial has hairlines around 6 o'clock to half past 7, one hand is rusted, dial does have other discoloured patches, balance staff broken)
