A Chinese Canton (Guangzhou) enamel stand and two similar dishes, Qianlong period, sections from a once larger stand or even pagoda, finely painted with lotus flowers and scrolling leaves and other flowers on a yellow ground within ruyi head borders, the stand decorated with pierced taotie masks and the shaped base with archaistic dragons, the two separate trays of canted square form with shou medallions to the corners, with lots of spare holes for additional supports probably once having a balustrade, the stand 30cm wide
CONDITION: The large stand section has dents and losses to the enamel around the pierced taotie frieze and the very edge of the base, the two additional trays have some occasional splintering and losses to the enamel and all parts there are lots of spare holes where other sections would have been stacked upon each other, now missing, the stand also would have had projecting sections on the corners like a pagoda.
