A 19th century French earthenware vase and cover, glazed in Mazarin blue and richly decorated in gilt with Islamic flowers and scrolling foliage, the domed and pierced cover surmounted by a Bacchic putto, ogee-shaped reservoir, its shoulder with masks, tri-form base with further putti seated on scrolls conforming, flanked by further masks with shells, pad feet, 52cm high, c. 1860
