Provenance: Philip Smith was an internationally renowned designer, bookbinder and book artist who exhibited at the V & A Museum, the National Art Library and the British Library. This piece was originally consigned by the artist's son at Wessex Auction Rooms as part of the sale of his deceased father's estate.
