P.O.W. MAIL - AZORES: 14 Aug. 1916 printed Portuguese Red Cross postcard (corner faults) & 30 Aug. 1916 plain env. both sent from Castelo de S. Joao Baptista in Angra (This was an internment camp for German civilians & sailors from impounded ships) to Lisbon. Both having violet 'semi-circular' cachet "COMANDO MILITAR/DOS/ACORES", the postcard additionally having 3 line red "DELEGACAO/DA COMISSAO DE PRISONNIERS/ANGRA DO HEROISMO" and blue oval Lisbon censor mark.
