A Chinese Qing dynasty blue and white porcelain ginger jar, probably Kangxi period (1662-1722), of typical form, with three shaped cartouches depicting precious Buddhist objects, against a prunus and crackled ice ground, with later wooden lid, the jar 21 cm high x 20 cm diameter
Condition report: crack starting from the rim to top right of one of the cartouches following along the side and up (see photos), chips to inner rim, some minor pitting, one small chip to the body, pitting to underside and wear consistent with age and use.
