A GEORGE II EIGHT DAY LONGCASE CLOCK the slender mahogany case with dental moulding and reeded columns enclosing a 12" brass arched dial with gilt masked spandrels and silvered chapter ring surrounding a matted engraved centre, the arch with moon aperture and age of moon chapter ring fronting a weight driven movement with finned pillars and swan neck suspension bracket striking the hours on a bell. - Purchased from Brian Lumes.
