A MASSIVE 19TH CENTURY ENGLISH 8 BORE FOWLING GUN. With an 8 bore single browned barrel with ejector, marked with Birmingham black powder marks, indistinctly marked to the top of the barrel, 'Converted by… ' with side-lock single hammer percussion cap firing action, the opening lever below the trigger guard. With chequered stock, the forestock with horn end. late 19th century, 122cm overall length. Exempt under Section 58 (2) of the 1968 Firearms Act, obsolete calibre, but unfit for use *Condition: Good condition, barrel rebrowned, probably during it's working life, stock with slight nocks and marks, possibly a conversion from a muzzle loader.
