A hand made wooden Noah’s Ark, probably early 20th century, hand painted in a naive folk art style, the hinged roof opening to a cabin with sliding door and opening window, 54cm W x 21cm D x 28cm H overall, with removable gang plank and a selection of later animal figures (at fault)
Hinges possibly later, minor splits to the timber where the hinges have been applied, some minor loss of beading to the upper part of the hull, some staining to the sliding door, left hand painted panel has been pushed in slightly, general fading, scratches and marks commensurate with age and use.
The matched set of animal figures are extensively play worn with some losses and repairs to some figures
