34 inch, double edged blade. Two narrow fullers repeated to the forte. Etched foliage scrolls, thistle sprays, Victorian crowned flaming grenade "Royal Scots Fusiliers" and Victorian crowned VR cypher. Forte with retailer "E Thurkle Maker Soho London". Steel bowl guard with thistle pierced decoration. Plated pommel and short backstrap with scroll engraving. Shagreen covered grip with twist wire binding. Contained in its leather field scabbard with steel throat and chape.
