Danish artist of the 20th century. Apprenticeship as a designer and stage designer. In the 1920s, numerous costume and stage designs. From the 1930s also oil paintings of mythological scenes and figures and abstract compositions. Influences from Art Deco and Cubism.
The oeuvre of the Danish artist Orla Muff is characterized by elegance and an unusually light-flooded color scale. His almost abstract compositions are committed to Art Deco and Cubism. In addition to painting, he also devoted himself to stage design; in the 1930s, for example, he carried out a number of commissioned works at theaters in Berlin.
