Of Driffield interest - Thomas Stockdale, Driffield, a pocket watch movement, the white enamel two-part dial with subsidiary seconds dial and half hunter hands, the movement signed and numbered 24131, dust cover, diameter 46 mm.
Thomas Stockdale was born in Bainton in 1853, he established his jewellers, clock and watchmakers and opticians at 61 Middle Street in 1873 and was still there in 1901.
