A Moorcroft "Natural Pottery" vase, early 20th century circa 1930, of ribbed slender ovoid form in iridescent treacle glaze, applied Moorcroft Museum label to base numbered 00453, 28.8cm high

PROVENANCE: Purchased by the vendor from the Moorcroft Museum. The lack of maker's marks to the base suggest this may have been a trial piece of some kind.
