Note: McLean studied at Edinburgh College of Art for four years in the sixties, under Sir William Gillies and Sir Robin Phillipson, and her style is strongly influenced by her early exposure to Scottish painting. Her work has been exhibited at The Walker Gallery, Harrogate; Talents Gallery, Malton; The Coast Gallery, Cloughton; Art in the Mill, Knaresborough; The Spa, Bridlington; Castle Hill Hospital, and she also has work in private collections in England, Scotland, France and Mallorca
