19th century gentleman’s velvet smoking cap, floral embroidery in coloured silks, elaborate silk covered button and tassel to the crown, lined in cream cotton with a faded silk label; together with a pair of opera glasses brass metal and white mother of pearl (2)
Externally, in very good order, a small amount of wear to the interior and discoloured. Mechanism on the glasses turns freely, no maker’s mark.
