Royal Interest: George V silver and enamelled rouge pot, maker WLP, Birmingham 1911, the top enamelled with a black terrier portrait against a white guilloche ground, gilt interior, with applied label inscribed 'Gift from Princess Victoria, 1934' and further inscribed to a label 'Flora! This little box once belonged to Queen Alexandra. It was given to me by her daughter Princess Victoria in 1937, G.I.C.', 5.5cm diameter
There is a small bruise and subsequent loss to the enamel on the edge (see image). There are some fine surface scratches to the enamel. The box closes well. There are minor scratches to the underside.
No further damage.
