A worksplate, VULCAN FOUNDRY, 5501, 1947, from a LNER B1 Class 4-6-0 No 1143 which became BR 61143. It entered traffic at Gorton in April 1947 and its later sheds included New England, Lincoln and Immingham from where it was withdrawn in February 1964 and cut up at Doncaster Works. Cast brass, 9"x5¼", ex loco condition. (Postage Band: C)
