WW1 Military Medal, BWM, Victory Medal with MID oakleaf and Territorial Force War Medal to 281003 A.W.O. Cl 2 E. Ball Lan Fus (Sjt 2/7 Lanc Fus - T.F. on MM, 3255 Sjt on TFWM) nearly extremely fine.
Edgerton Ball's MM was announced in the London Gazette dated 14th January 1918, probably for the action at Poelcapelle 9/10/17. His MID was announced in the London Gazette dated 30th January 1920 "For valuable services rendered whilst a prisoner of war." With various copied research, he enlisted 1/11/12, taken POW 21/3/18, discharged 23/4/19, numbers confirmed. (See photo) (R)
