Unusual Modified M1879 Artillery Bayonet


25 1/4 inch, single edged, plain blade with back edge sharpened point.  The forte with traces of conversion.  Steel muzzle ring and D shape, knuckle bow.  Steel pommel with release stud button.  Black leather checkered slab grips.
