Three early 19th century pearlware Staffordshire figures of saints, depicting St. Mark, St. Luke and St. Matthew, each on an oval titled base with painted blue and red-brown swirled decoration, 7 ¼in. (18.4cm.) high, St Matthew missing hand, restorations. (3) * St Luke and St Mark both have old, well executed restoration to the right hand, and also to the book on St Mark. Chip to one horn of calf on St Luke. St Matthew is missing the left hand and has a few paint flakes to maroon cloak. We belive that the head has also been off and that there is well executed old restoration to the neck.
