Ann Collier: a large late 19th century white mother of pearl complementing a powder-blue and silver bobbin lace leaf, the upper edge scalloped, the lower edge equally scalloped by means of an additional panel applied so as to be in relief, the design quite linear, AC initials, guard approx. 32cm
The lace is bright and fresh. Two gorge sticks repaired as seen from the verso, upper guard repaired near the tip, and two ribs falling a little short at the tips. The top rivet is not original.
