A Chinese famille verte jardiniere of bombé form with flattened rim and gilt lion-dog ring handles, painted with a continuous elaborate figural scene including a presentation with an official and attendants, children and elegant ladies, the concave neck with panels of birds amongst flowering branches reserved on a lattice ground, Qing Dynasty, 41cm wide [base section missing, minor wear to rim].
