Moll was of Dutch origin, but worked and published his maps in England. According to Tooley, Moll was hostile toward French mapmakers, especially De l'Isle and ignored his excellent map of Africa. Instead Moll continued to base his maps on Dutch models and also retained names from Mercator's 1595 map.
This miniature map in based on Moll's large map of 1710 and show wind flows in the oceans.
