A George III silk needlework oval picture, The Favourite Pupil, titled, dated and inscribed to verso Miss Asher's Work at Witham [Essex] 1803 at Miss E. Asher's, the silk figures picked out in pen and ink, the foliage worked in high relief, 17.1 x 13cm, contemporary turned pear wood frame, 26 x 21cm overall.
Good, untouched condition. The frame with surface wear and scratches.
