William John Caparne (British, 1855-1940), 'Sea Pink and Sea Purple'. * watercolour, heightened with white, signed lower left, further signed and inscribed to verso, well framed and mounted. * 21¼ x 29½in. (54 x 75cm.). * Lovely bright colours - no fading - and good condition overall. A few small scattered fox marks to the upper sky and slightly toning to paper from an earlier acidic mount to margins visible in sky - has now been re-framed to a very good standard with an acid free mount.
