A Gauge One railway Bing London, Tilbury & Southend Railway 'Tilbury Tank' 4-4-2T locomotive, Southend-on-Sea. Originally live steam with regulator, water sight glass, etc. The vendor had the locomotive sympathetically converted to 3-rail electric running. The conversion has involved the removal of the meths tank and we understand; the cutting of one pipe, the intention was to ensure the work was reasonably easily reversible. Finished in lined lavender grey '1912' livery and signed by the painter 'Painted by 27 4129/98' to underside of the chassis. VGC, well repainted and with minor wear since. £600-800
