A rare Middle Eastern embossed brass swing handle bucket, 19th century. Probably Syrian, the central frieze depicting a continuous scene of an Assyrian throned king and a tributary procession with a variety of decorative bands including a grape leaf and berry pattern. 9.8 in (25 cm) height.
Condition report: Wear with age as illustrated. The swing handle might have been added at a later date.
