Sven BERLIN (1911-1999) 'The Cry of Merlin' Draft A of handwritten manuscript signed and dated '69 New Forest, Typescript titled on the outer folder 'Le Crie De Merlin. Incomplete', and a folder of loose handwritten notes, titled 'The Walking Trees. Notes. Cry of Merlin'. 'The Cry of Merlin' is one of Berlin's unpublished texts. He began writing the first manuscript whilst living in the New Forest and later completed it when living on the Isle of Wight in 1971. Some of the text which forms 'The Cry of Merlin' was later used in the short stories of Berlin's later work, 'The Flight of The Dragonfly' in 1983.
