A late 19c English triple fusee bracket clock, the movement chiming on eight bells and hour striking on a gong. The arched silvered dial has cherub head spandrels and three subsidiary dials for strike/silent, pendulum regulation and chime on eight bells or Westminster Chime. It is contained in a mahogany case with semi circular caddy top and stepped base with gilt bun feet. The front canted corners have gilt caryatid mouldings and the sides have sunburst gilt sound frets. The clock stands 74cm tall.
The movement seems complete but dirty and the chime needs adjusting. The dial is complete but tarnished and the case is complete but would benefit from cleaning.
