The first inset with gilt and black lacquer depiction of Hotei, the interior fitted with tray, midoribata inkstone and pen rest, 15.2cm x 24cm, the smaller box lacquered in black and gold with grasses 13cm x 10.2cm
The box with Hotei - with some ink stains to interior, the tray split, with old repair, the pen rest stained. The smaller box with small chips to each corner.
