Antique Whitework: a very large whitework cape, 19th century, fine spotted cotton, embroidered to all edges ,with a central panel, shaped back dipping beyond the hip, and long front panels, the outer edges with one frill to the front panels and three to the rear ( a few small holes) ; a long shaped collar with whitework panel and frills of early 19th c bobbin lace; a cotton lawn collar with spriggy design and bobbin lace frill ( darn noted), an 18th century embroidered lawn panel, possibly formerly an apron; and a lawn and lace fichu (5)
Some storage discoloration, some small holes, the early embroidered panel has definite holes.
