A Japanese Meiji period large bronze and silver inlaid koro and cover, the body of the koro inlaid with scenes of birds amidst foliage, flowers and leaves in silver and mixed metals, the cover mounted with a large okimono of Otafuku in an elegant leaning pose in traditional robes, the cover with open work and inlaid with snails and insects, with twin handles and three chilong style figures to the side, supported on three inlaid legs, 51cm high, 27cm wide.
