The book is a single volume comprising sixty one single sided pages each containing an illustrated limerick. One page is detached from the binding, and the binding is slightly loose in places. illustrated boards show shelf wear, staining and bumpas to all corners. The cover and front free endpaper are each inscribed 'Warboys Proctor' in ink. All pages show foxing, with some more extensively foxed than others.
