An atmospheric original oil on canvas board painting titled "Tau Cross" by the artist Anton Meenan. Shows a scene of upturned curraghs on a pebble beach, with white washed cottages and the titular cross in the background. Rendered in blues and greys, with thick expressive black outline. Tory Island features regularly in Meenan's work, with this being a particularly nice example. Signed bottom right and housed in a complementary frame. Meenan has a strong auction history with a similar work selling at Ross's for £420.
