WW1 Meritorious Service Medal to 11794 Cpl J. Toseland M.M. 2/Leic R. very fine. James Toseland's MSM was for Egypt and was announced in the London Gazette dated 3rd June 1919 and his MM was announced in the London Gazette dated 18th October 1917.
With 3 copied pages of service papers, LGs and MIC, he enlisted 21/8/14, suffered GSW leg 16/5/15, wounded again 16/1/16 with GSW causing severe injury to Brachial Plexica, rejoined Bn 4/5/16, invalided to India with jaundice 10/8/16, papers record award of MM 11/4/17. (R)
