Biography The Brocot family were a well-known dynasty of clockmakers, founded by Louis-Gabriel Brocoot, working in Paris with a number of Brevetes d'invention to their name including the Brocot form of suspension regulation as used in the majority of French movements in the mid-to-late 19th century.
