Obverse: crowned left-facing bust with a mark of value behind the head, 'III', crown mintmark, and legend around that reads 'CAROLVS · D · G · MAG · BR · FR · ET · HIB · REX'. Reverse: shield of royal arms quartered by a short cross, crown mintmark and 'CHRISTO · AVSPICE · REGNO' around. Weight: 1.90g. Diameter: 21mm. Grade: VF - attractive dark grey toning, bust a little weakly struck, otherwise Very Fine.
